Tvangeste is a cult symphonic black metal band from Prussia (currently residing in Canada). Formed in
1997.
Two albums released so far:
"Damnation of Regiomontum" - 2000 by Valgalder records/Norway
"Firestorm" - 2003 by World Chaos / Japan
Tvangeste is known for skillful employment of classical arrangements and using real symphony orchestra / choir elements mixed with metal music.

Fantastic album beautiful, melodic! Every track is amazing and was hard choosing a favorite. I have come back to this and Monument over and over since release.

The Faceless Divine

Totengefluster was a pleasant surprise for me quite a few years back when their second album fell into my hands. Symphonic black metal from Germany, very reminiscent of Cradle of Filth. Whilst the previous album had a sense of poetic theatricality within it's composition, this third and final album (sadly the band has now split) is faster paced and more fierce. The songwriting is great, and the vocals continue to impress with the range and execution. Highly recommended, worth the purchase!

I know these guys are probably tired of hearing it but in my opinion these guys are the freshest thing to happen to black metal since Windir. They were my favorite band of all time and since the untimely death and end of the band Black Metal has seemed somewhat stale to me. This has definitely sparked my hope for the future!
